PostHeaderIcon Room 11 Making a Splash!

The third classes were going to swimming lessons at the Markievicz Lesuire Centre in October, November and December.

We all learned so much from the excellent swim instructors at the pool on Tara Street and are much better swimmers now than we were 9 weeks ago!

Here we are at the statue of Countess Markievicz outside the leisure centre.

We can’t wait to practice our new aqua skills when we go swimming with our families now that our lessons are over.

Our swimming lessons were great and we can’t wait to keep practicing our swim skills!

Want to go swimming later?
It deep-ends!

PostHeaderIcon G.A.A Coaching May 2018

This term (Term 3 May 2018), we have been very lucky to have great coaches in to coach us with some G.A.A. skills! Our coaches were Seán  and Cyril who were part of the North East Inner City GAA project! They coached 3rd and 5th classes! They had some students from Larkin College to help out. We really enjoyed the training sessions! We can’t wait for the summer Camp that is also taking part in Larkin College in the first week of July! It only costs €5.00. The camp is for children from 2nd-5th classes. Please send your form back to Ms McDonagh before the summer holidays!

This year the 4th classes of EX1 and A5 went on their school to Pine Forest Art Centre in Kiltiernan, Co.Dublin. Situated in the Dublin mountains the children got to sample lots of activties including walking trails, and arts and crafts! We had a fabulous fun day out and the views out over Dublin bay were just breathtaking! Thank you to Ms Thornton and Ms McGinley for coming with us! Take a look at our pictures! Can you spot the Fairy Tree?
