Bhí Lá Fhéile Pádraig iontach againn sa halla i mbliana. We had a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day in the hall this year. Every child dressed in green and sang Irish songs, recited Irish poems or played some tunes. 5th Class performed a drama. There was great variety and children enjoyed the concert (ceolchoirm). Unfortunately, due to space restrictions, we could not invite our parents.

March 2019

To celebrate World Book Day we talked about our favourite books: Ms. Downey’s is The Teddy Robber and Ms. O’ Doherty’s is The Elves and the Shoemaker. We visited our lovely School Library where Ms. Downey read the story Charlie Cook’s Favourite Book. In the classroom we watched Charlie and Lola in But excuse me that is MY book.

Massive thanks to parents and children who helped out in our collection of rugby stickers over the last number of weeks. We collected over 300 stickers, filled up our poster and now have a chance to win 50,000 euro for the school! Fingers crossed! All your support is hugely appreciated as always!
