PostHeaderIcon Stitching for Fun in Room 15 and Room 16

The boys and girls in second class have been very busy learning how to stitch this term. We are making some spooky spider webs in preparation for Halloween with the huge help of parents. Thank you so much to the mothers and fathers who have come along over the past three weeks to get involved, it has made such a difference! Check out some of the photos below of our work in progress.

PostHeaderIcon Tea and Tissues

Gardiner Street School welcomed the parents of our new Junior Infants by hosting a  “Tea and Tissues Morning” in the School Hall. Thankfully not many tissues were needed for parents or children this year! As always our  event was organised with the wonderful assistance of  our staff.  A big THANK YOU to Jackie, Julius, Rachel, Tanya and Livia.

PostHeaderIcon 6th Class Stitching For Fun

6th class produced beautiful cushions for Stitching For Fun this year. They used the running stitch, back stitch, chain stitch, and satin stitch. We couldn’t be prouder of them. Thank you so much for the parents and teacher who helped.
