2nd Class Tayto Park Tour June 2017
On Wednesday 21st of June, the hottest and longest day of the year, Ms. Downey, Ms. Bell and Ms. Reilly’s 2nd Classes went on their School Tour to Tayto Park in Ashbourne, Co. Meath. Firstly we were given a tour of the Zoo where we saw tigers, emus, wallabies, peacocks, meercats, owls, raccoons and lots more animals. Then we visited the factory to see how the crisps are made. It makes King, Hunky Dorys and Snax as well as Tayto. After lunch we had a go on the rides which included The Steam Train Express, The Leap Frog, The Honey Pot Bears, The Boat, The Shot Tower, The Ferris Wheel, The Air Jumpers and The Super Hero Training Wall. Before we left we spent some time in the playground. On the bus on way back to school we ate our free bags of Taytos.
